An exploration of place, memory, and transformation, this exhibition gathers fragments of the Humberston Fitties – its chalets, its histories, its lingering emotions – into a single, collective artwork.
Through a dynamic interplay of digital and analogue photography, archival images, and new interpretations, this artwork unfolds in segments, each piece a reflection of time’s imprint on the landscape.
Like the Fitties itself – ever shifting yet deeply rooted – this exhibition is a conversation between past and present, between materials and memories, between those who have called this place home. A study in continuity and change, it invites viewers to immerse themselves in the patchwork of history, where each piece carries the essence of place and the stories it holds.
Echoes of the Fitties is an exhibition in chalet 196, 7th Avenue, which will be open from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 14th and Sunday 21st September.
